Since the GEN III's have an 80mm MAF I was thinking about it....the new SVT lightnings have 90mm MAFs would this give any more hp? How much would this cost? And...would it work?

Ozz - your diagnostic module link is mis-spelled -

obd-2, not odb-2

You'd need to compensate with reprogamming, right? Like the V6 does with the 80mm?

I seriously doubt you can flow enough air for even the 80mm to be restrictive. You should probably save your money on this one. Remember that the 3.0L isn't really restricted by the original 55mm until the horsepower is well above stock.

I'd have to say hold off on that for now. I think of an engine like a straw. Air goes in one side and out the other. If there is a crimp in the straw somewhere, you're not going to get more air through if you enlarge the straw somewhere else. I'd like to find out where the "crimp" is on our system and work from there. The biggest one I see is the intake. For now the MAF can be gutted, I did mine and it seemed to pick up a little.
