I have a chance to get a great black carpet from a 90 gl. Will it lay down correct in a 94 sho? Of course I would have to cut out for the shifter.

yes, it will fit right except for the shifter part, which you can cut out. since it is from a GL, it may not have as much sound deadening felt under it.

Awesome. Here at the jy in NY the carpet is $7.63 per section. Only 1 gen1 and 2 gen2 taurus. No sho. Slim pickings.

The ducting under the seats is also a bit different, so you may need to remove it. Or take the ducting from the GL when you pull the carpet.

I guess whatever needs to come with it. Everything is in such great shape that it must have been garage kept. Will the power seat track come off the bottom of the gl seats so I can put it on the sho seat? The motors are shot on mine

does the gl have power seats? as I recall, the track for the 60/40 bench is different from the buckets, and the gl did not have buckets iirc.

Thank you. I wasn't even thinking about it being 60/40. I read that gen3 buckets fit and there are plenty of them at the yard.

Gen3 seats do fit, but the colors do not match and the power seat is wired differently - I don't recall if forward/rearward is switched or if up/down is switched, but you will need to re-pin the connector to make it work right.

What I have found after a couple hours taking apart the the 90 gl and the seats from my 94 atx sho is that the power driver seat bracket from the 60/40 in the 90 is identical to the 94. I'd like to swap my bottom and back to this frame or is it easier to take the motors and swap those? I'm a bit gun shy on taking motors apart.
