How loud is the car when you delete the car and have off road down pipes? I saw a guy post on youtube saying you can't really even hear the exhaust on the freeway, but I was wondering, does it even produce any more power or is it done just for the sound? I don't want my car to be gaudy or have an annoying exhaust drone since its a daily driver, but if it's minimal and gives the car better power and sounds nice then it might be worth it....

thoughts? opinions? facts?

Sorry, I saw some post saying 3rd cat.. I'm not sure if it's the cat or the muffler since I'm going offroad DP's in the first place if that means there's no cats on it... sorry for sounding like a newb, I've never looked under the car.

Also, I got a sweet deal on the 20 inch wheels... so I need it reprogrammed.. Torrie from Unleashed is asking for the tire revolutions per mile to add to the tune.. it's just the stock 245/45/20 tires.. Does anyone know what that is?

I just put the off road dp on and it is a little louder. I am still debating the third cat. There was a video on YouTube of a guy that had it I will see if I can dig it up

Man that's annoying... I wonder if he still has his mufflers or if he removed everything

The tire manufacturer should list in the specifications if not contact the retailer or manufacturer. I found Michelin Pilot Super Sports at 726 revolutions per mile and that sounds like a fairy reasonable starting point.

Any mods done to the exhaust will make it sound different. Sound is taste. It all depends what you want. Its very hard to tell what your going to get with a V6. This is mine with LMS catted downpipes and Stainless works cat back without the resonator-cold start.. I later installed the resonator due to drone at cruising speed.

see, that sounds pretty good... but drone is not something I want to deal with so if the power increase is menial, I'll just leave it be with off road down pipes going into a stock exhaust.
