I just booked my room on points at the Quality Inn on Natural Bridge Rd. If I wasn't using points the rate was $40.49/night using AAA discount for 10% off FWIW.

Could be a ********, I don't care. I'll be well-armed.

ask James and Dave how much I bitched about staying there. I mean we're talking Jeremy levels of ******** and that is high for me.

Even for just a place to stash your spare clothes and pass out I wont stay there again. bugs, dirt, the sheets were wierd, the beds were all super old and worn out, and when I switched rooms the third time I found a bunch of burned up brillo pad and a busted horn near the toilet in the bathroom.

I dont smoke rock, but clearly the mgmt doesnt have a problem with it at this one.

Also, the Awful house in the same parking lot draws a crowd of transients, drunks and opportunistic little shit heads who dont like to be confronted for peeking into car windows at 4am.

I SHOULD be down this way on a work trip anyway (or at least KC) so I'll have my corporate lodging direct bill card to take care of a room for the weekend. as we get within a week or two, if there is still someone who needs a spot to crash PM me and i'll make sure I have a double room if I am down there for work.

If I aint down there for work, then I will be probably getting a room close to Daves at $75 a night and wouldn't mind splitting either.

X2, i dont think that is the one he is talking about. I stayed there last year and it was not bad at all. I dont remember a Waffle House in the parking lot either.

He stayed further up the rock road. You guys really need to stay like right near the airport, or at the super 8 right down the street. PM me your address' of what hotel/area youre staying in so I can let you know whether to be armed or not.

Eventually it does. I was the last non-native to leave last year. Dont remember what time it was but eventually everybody crashes. Of course i was the latest to sho up on Saturday, but thats cause i kept the party going after i left on Friday. East St. Louis can be fun!! LOL
