Unfortunately, I won't be making it (again).

Although there is still progress on my SHO, she's still yet to be complete.

I was planning on driving down the trusty 'ol, nearly 100% rust free '01 SE Taurus w/180k on the clock.....

However, my priorities were realigned this year as my wife (who not only has two, long standing autoimmune disorders) developed a very rare, very aggressive form of breast cancer between Feb 28th (when her mammo was clear) to April 4th (when she discovered the lumps).

She's been undergoing weekly chemo, which ultimately will end in a double mastectomy procedure in the fall.

More concerning is that I ended up taking her to the ER on the 4th of July, and she has since been admitted (and continues to stay) to this day, with a VERY high fever (floating between 103 and 104 daily) and the doctors have no idea of the source.

I ask for your prayers and know that I am with you all in spirit in the convention. Hope it is (yet another) successful one.View attachment 91129
