I have a 2011 with the livernois 4+ tune on it for about 10,000 miles now, the only other thing done to the car is an air intake by MDesign, should i get the 3 bar map sensor for the car, or leave it as is? i was curious if the car would perform better with it in it. ( i have the pre gapped plugs in it also).

I'd suggest the 3bar. Coming from the 4+ set of tunes to the 3bar myself, I found the daily driving shifting to be better and picked up a tenth or 2 in the 1/4.

If tracking the car or making pulls up over 100 mph, I'd get a lower tstat in there ASAP also.

thanks for the info.....im curious as to why the picture on the livernois website of the map snsor appears to have screw holes on the sides of it, as my stock one just presses in and with the intake on the car it has a new o ring on it and also presses in....is the picture of the sensor for our cars or just a random picture

You are looking at the MAP sensor in the middle of the intake manifold, correct? That's the one you need to swap out.

Here's my take on 3bar...Rock Auto or Tasca has them pretty cheap...or you spend the extra 10-15 bucks to support your tuner.

I ordered the one from livernois today will install as soon as it gets here, did you notice a little quicker acceleration with it in as oppose to the stock one with the 4+tune?

Truthfully...no

Had to mod it to prevent it from sucking in hot air from the engine bay also.

I added a foam insulator that is designed for interior piping. Keeps water lines from sweating in your basement most often. Also added a thin insulation that is designed to wrap your heat ducting. I think the wrap inside the box is overkill at this point and is not needed. Will be removing it from mine shortly. But the foam on top lip is a must.

what did you have to mod if you dont mind me asking the sensor itself?
Sorry mike, thought it was cai question for some reason. Feeling the tenth or 2 gain is a real tough one. As I've chipped away at my 1/4 mile times, the noticeable launch difference has come via tire pressure adjustments and a quicker left foot off of the brake IMO.
