We are hoping to try and make the BBQ, will depend on how we are doing after getting back from Europe the week before.

Dave, do you have any interest in Pear wood for smoking meat, and I don't mean the **** way of smoking meat smartasses. I cut a limb off my 45' tall mega producing peartree (roughly 700 pears this year) and have some 5" + x 24" nice fruity smelling logs here. I've NEVER sprayed chemicals on the tree and it smell pretty sweet. LMK
