I like the power adjustable steering wheel with memory. Makes entry and exit much easier.

Yeah, if they dropped that, and the sunshade, I guess my mind is made up - try to find a 2018 before March (or just jump right now into a new lease) or keep my 2016 with 22K miles. ;)

I would just keep your 2016. 22k miles is basically barely broke in. Why take yet another depreciation hit? You could put the Livernois Built 3.5 motor in your 2016 for the loss in value you will experience with a new 2018/2019.

Well, so do I - but only so far as to get the exact same thing. I've never done this in my life - let go of a vehicle before it was ready to rot into the ground. The money doesn't concern me very much if I can "refresh" the exact same vehicle.

LOL When they start to rot I find someplace to park them until its time to start over, waiting on a guy today who wants to restore my 1989 F-150. Anyway I'm in the same boat I love my Betty BUT I want to have at least one vehicle under 100k. Since they have stopped making the SHO my window to find a low mileage replacement grows smaller ever year. So not sure what I'm going to do but I have started looking a lot sooner then I thought I would.

Yeah me too, it's stuck in the up position. Haha.

Mine also broke, $800 for a replacement. I unplugged the power cord from the motor, pulled out down, and zip corded it permanently down. I need to get the rear tinted next.

My 2010 SHO still runs strong @ 118k and no mods yet. I paid it off recently after buying used @ 70k. MSRP $43,000 got it for $18,900. I was worried buying the first M.Y. but it has run good with only a starter going out under warranty. The NAV can't be updated, though. That's a shame. Maybe i could replace it with an 11 but I just use the Garmin or my phone.

I suppose the newer ones are a bit nicer but without an engine update I am not interested. If this engine gives me trouble down the road, I'll just get it fixed or install a transplant or go hot rod with it.

Your preaching to the choir brother, I have four vehicles in the yard, total mileage is over 500K miles. and the SHO's part is only 60K. BUT I would just like to have one nice car under a 100, just because I can but trust me I understand your point.

Thanks for telling me this! I've been lolly-gagging as far as getting this addressed.

Me too, but it was just too tempting compared to a regular Taurus. I was faced with: $22k for a '10 SHO or ~$25k for a '13 SEL. All of us know what happens as soon as you test drive the SHO model. I've told friends looking to buy a Taurus (or similar sedan), don't test drive it if you don't want it. Because you will end up getting it.

I suppose the 2019 will be the rarest of all model years 2010+. Seems like they are up for a six month run. Wasn't the 2012's made for about 8 months as Ford pushed for the redesign...?

I'm really sad to see it go as I'm sure everyone here is as well, I would have liked to see a refresh instead, but sales are sales, and "most" Americans want the SUV platform. Hence, the new Bronco and Ranger and no more sedans. I like the new Bronco, gotta admit.

I nearly talked the wife into buying an explorer sport. But I'm holding out for the Bronco. It is a true SUV being a body on frame construction. If they stuff the 3.5l EcoBoost, I'm all over it!!!

I wouldn't bet on the new Bronco having the 3.5. Everything I have seen points to it being based on the new Ranger.
