Just got this girl from a Chevy dealer . Well I pick it Friday as I work out of town and I found on a Sunday. I've been after one for some time now and could never find one that had all the options I wanted. As of now I dont have any plans to modify the car, but what are some mods out their you'd guys recommend that wont hurt reliability of the car? F9b578dc812c3bcf5d5c0a91a0db5281

Don't do anything, and just enjoy. The first time you line up at a stop light and lose, you'll be in "mod" mode. Then, it never stops, or so it seems.

I'm in "tune" phase now that I'm on my third SHO and keeping it after the lease is up.

Oh, and bulls don't have **** :omgsho:

Awesome!
at least put a fresh set of plugs in if its over 25k miles and make sure to gap them .028 to .030. you can do this the same time you put in the 3 bar map and tune for 93, e30 if you have them available. this is the best bang for the buck and the only thing you will hurt are other drivers feelings.
These cars hold up well with just a tune.

I have e85 and 93 readily available but I here the e85 is really more like e55. I'm new to all that stuff so not sure what it means. I can say I'm not intrested in blending fuel at this point and have read somewhere about getting a flex fuel tune that works with all mixtures. Any insight on this?

Oh, and no matter what the mileage, change the PTU fluid NOW! And maybe the RDU as well.

The car has 60,000 miles on it.

Again, do that PTU fluid change right away. Whenever someone asks about buying a Gen IV SHO, most people recommend rolling that into the deal to begin with. Being it's a Chevy dealer, that might not be a good idea ;) (Just kidding)

That's some good advice. Thank you

an 93 tune will give you a lot of fun without the blending.
yes change the ptu fluid! and if the trans has not had a drain and fill its worth the 25.00

Can you tell me what kind of HP gains to expect from a 93 tune?

most 93 tunes will net you about 50 more HP and around a 100 tq to the tires. I have never dyno'ed my 93 tunes only 93+meth. And I have done it with 2 separate tuners. I am about to put my E30 on the dyno in the next few weeks when the tune is done.
my dyno sheets are here https://www.ecoboostperformanceforum.com/index.php/topic,2059.105.html
post #109 and #111
LMS tune 369 hp and 469 tq
AJP tune 413 hp and 473 tq
