Just ordered the Unleashed tune, thermostat, gapped plugs, and the 3 bar MAP sensor. Can't wait to see how the car responds!

Good luck! Just remember the 3bar needs the tune to work right, so if you ever return to stock (say for a dealer visit), put it back to 2bar also. There are 2 of the MAPs, you want to change out the one in the middle/on top of the intake manifold.

Thanks for the info! I spoke with Torrie from Unleashed and will be providing him with the mods list prior to tuning or installing anything.

Are there any "How-To" on the site? I searched but didn't see anything really.

There are HOWTOs on each part of the upgrade, except for the tune. Which SCT device did you order?

Generically speaking, the first thing to do is to make sure the device is uptodate (firmware). This means connecting the device with a USB cable to your laptop/desktop and running the SCT update software. Then hook up the device to the OBD port on your SHO (OBD cable or Bluetooth or wireless), look up the SHO's strategy code, and backup the stock tune file. Then select the tune file you want to upload to the SHO, and begin the process, paying attention to the prompts along the way. For more specific help, you can talk with Torrie and/or ask questions here and on http://www.ecoboostperformanceforum.com.

I went with the SCT X4 Power Flash Programmer from Unleashed Tuning. Got my confirmation yesterday along with a separate update from Torrie telling me to send over the mod list and stragety code prior to flashing. Aside from that I am familiar with running the flash on a DiabloSport for my old SVT Focus but never with the SCT X4.

Thank you very much for the heads up and pointing me towards the "How-To"

Thank you to SHOdded and Torrie from Unleashed for all the help!

Got the tune setup last night and setup for 93 octane and just the tune while I wait on the remaining parts! Torrie is AWESOME with his responses, help, and even sending me a 2nd tune so I could play last night without the Tstat and MAP sensor.

Just the tune alone made a night and day difference!!!!!!!

I'm literally placing my order for the same exact thing. I'd love to hear how it all turns out!

I'm in the Macon GA area, went to Silver Dollar Raceway.

DA?

Some data logging but I haven't pulled it yet. I have a SCT X4 and DashCommand.

I see.

I know it was doing much better then my last outing.

Traction was better, track temps were pretty close to the same. Temp was in the low 50s

I was the only one consistently making passes for about the 1st hour. Best passes came in the 2nd hour, had some dragsters heating it up.

I was also trying different launch RPMS, 2200 got the best time.

Interesting, usually 2200 is a stock launch zone, 2000 or less is for tuned. Maybe the better brakes in the Gen 4.2 help also. Still under the stall speed.

Yeah I tried several anything under 2k would hurt my 60ft. - best was 1.871
I was launching off of the stall on my first outing about a month ago. - result was SHO burnouts.
