Lmao...the same engineers that state the ptu fluid is lifetime...

My temps reach same areas they do at the dragway on warm days in traffic...maybe things didn't work out just how Ford planned?

And there is a trans cooler line mod for the prev gen that keeps fluid cooler and shifts better.

Before I bought my '12 PP car, it wasn't cause I wanted to track my car, its cause I wanted certain options. I do drag race my car time to time, but mostly a daily driver. I knew before I even bought the car, that I wanted to retro fit the oil cooler onto the car. I did it to help increase the engine and turbo life. Since I have owned previous Gen's of the SHO, I have seen the results of excessive heat that they create just from normal everyday driving. The biggest issue with the Gen 3's is the very small trans cooler which did very little if anything to help cool the fluid. That is what causes most of the trans failures in those years. Also the newer Gens need a bigger and better trans cooler, that is why most of us have retro fitted '13 PP trans cooler onto '10-12.
