Filled up with 93 octane and flashed the 93 octane tune. I guess they only have 2 tunes available for the 2014 now, the 91 and 93.
Day one- Flash was quick and painless. All files updated sucessfully. No wipers, no lights, etc. Just update and done.
As soon as I took it on the street, I stompped the gas and almost got whiplash! All 4 tires screeched and I was off. Had a few clunky shifts in the beginning, but after that everything smoothed out and is riding great! The difference is like going from ground round to ribeye. Had a ball driving yesterday, in and out of traffic and leaving Camaros and Chargers in the dust. Only down side is that I used a quarter tank of gas while opening her up. But did take it on the highway and set cruse to 82mph and after a 20 minute ride got 24.8 mpg! Much better than my 2010 Taurus Limited that I traded in for the SHO.
