Made a trip to the local Pull-A-Parts to day and found some treasures. :dribble:

There is a 91 in the Lynnwood, WA yard in good shape and together other than what I took.
  • I got a rod shifter for my someday ATX to MTX swap.
  • A hard button EATC which whoever owned it must have upgraded it.
  • And Indaglow gadges.

There is a 93 or 94 ATX in the Arlington, WA yard wrecked but many good parts with 116,000 miles.

The rest is up for grabs. I am not sure of the mechanical condition. I would have loved to take the 3.2 from the ATX with that low mileage and rebuild it for my swap.

Hello all, I will be heading down to our local Pull-n-Save in Spokane, it has been a few weeks since I was there, but there were two SHO's, a black '89 and a red 93 ATX. I will still see if they are still there. I do know there will be a '89 champaign going out there in about a week, bad tranny. I tried to get it off of him for $100, we agreed, but then he sent it down there anyways... :( it was complete, though the int. was shot...good body panels and supposedly good engine. ODO read 121...

I heard that someone took 91's taillights and,, that's what I need.. Dang it!

Aren't the taillights on the taurus vs the SHO the same? I have not seen any difference. You looking for the ones with the red blinkers or the yellow? We have a shitload of older taurus' out here, the tail lights are around $5-10 a piece...:thumb:

spoiler, power bulge hood, mirrors, b pillars, chrome surround for windows etc... Most got all, some got most.

And the regular Taurus tails are different. The SHO has 3 cut lighting sections and 3 sockets. One for brake/running, turn, and reverse. The regular taurus has only 2, the running and brake/signal are the same. They require modification to make them work, i.e. dremel out the casing for the 3rd socket in the SHO.

91 SHOs have 4 sections and 4 sockets, and that really stinks! I was looking for one for my 91 and it was hard to find one =[

That one in arlington is a '93.. there was a strut tower brace in the front I was going to grab and the IAC valve, and some other stuff, but when I got the money to go back someone hacked through the front radiator support (needed fans too as mine are shakey...) and chopped up the intercooler for the AC..

I got the speedo (as on mine the trip meter clicks and doesn't move right), the intake, radio button for volume... I would like to get the whole block, but nore sure.... anyways, I would have liked to know who got the strut tower brace, the rear brackets were there, but the bar was gone...

-Brian:omgsho:

OH, they got the hood lifts also.

I live in Marysville, where do you live?

Sorry... didn't think anyone would ever post in this section.... My ride is a currently dead 95 SHO Green/Grey No-MoonRoof ATX 206k.... starter issues, tried to replace the only two O2's I could find and the rear one (close to the firewall) is giving me issues.......so I stopped...

Anyways, my number is 425-328-9723 if you just wanna chat, or need or lend me some help with this monster... Other than slight tranny issues, and rod bearings soon, everything else is pretty much fine...

Thanks man, I didn't think there was anyone else around here and the GuruComputers guy has yet to respond to me.. I am sure he's busy, but a message would be awsome... :) He lives in Everett......

Anyways, feel free to call anytime..:swing::help::help:

I sent you a PM. It has been an unusually busy week at work and not much time to really do anything but wonder if it is ever going to end.:rainshit:

I will give you a call later this week and I can give you a hand. The O2 in the back is a bit tricky to get out but is doable with the right O2 socket and extention with a wobble head...

Did anybody ever get the Tokico struts off the red 93 that was in Arlington P-a-P a couple months ago?

Well I'm glad somebody got those Tokicos. There was a 98 in the Lynnwood yard when I stopped by there a few days ago. It had 145K miles and no body damage. Gee, I wonder why it was there. Motor and tranny were gone though, some one thought they were good.
