So, here it is. The time I never, ever thought would come. To be quite honest, it still may not happen. So, I guess this is a feeler of sorts.
What I have is my 1998 Ford Taurus SHO. I am the second owner of this car, and I have owned it for the last 10 or so years. In that time, I have driven this car maybe 3k miles. As a young guy, SHO's were all that I lived for. I could not have enough of them. IIRC this is my 19th or so SHO.
I bought this car to keep. And keep I did. The car has come from the south and was as clean under a car, as a car could be. The exhaust did not even have surface rust. It was perfect. The entire time I have had the car, it has seen rain one time. Never any snow, and lives life in a garage, under a cover. Things have changed in my life. I now collect 911 Turbos, Corvettes, and other high ticket items. The SHO has not been driven over 300 miles in the last 5 years. It is just not right for the girl to continue to sit.
What you get is a perfect example of a Taurus SHO. The one blemish it has is some discolor on the steering wheel. All aspects of the car are as new. Cams are of course welded. Transmission was rebuilt ( But not by me ). Everything works perfectly on the car, and she runs and drives great. Oil was changed fresh this year, and the car is full of fresh fuel with stabilizer.
The exterior is perfect. I will include two sets of wheels. One stock set with good Michelin tires, one aftermarket set with good Kuhmo.
I want the car to go to a good home. The money is not the point here, so no offers. I will take 6500.00 for the car. No more, no less.
