They are dropping gradually, but the Rose Mist's are especially rare! I'm hoping it finds a good home as well. I think values will only start going up when there are about 100 left that are in a solid good condition or better.

Car has an Awesome pair of SHO owners!

Sorry if I mangle the spelling - The Angermeiers from Wisconsin. Long time SHO fanatics, no disrespect to Josh, I'm sure the car is in an even better place.

Were I to ever sell my dirty girl, I'd be very pleased to know it went to an owner who could keep it in top form better than I. Kris and Andy invested wisely, and I expect Josh would be happy that his car went to well-known enthusiasts. :boink:

Hi,

Sadly, I found a link that I will not want to find...

After a small side hit on his car in a parking, it seems that Josh decided to sell his car. I rode some things on that but never see the annoncement until today (confirmed by VIN).

Farewell Josh, we will miss you, thanks for the help for this Rose Mist registry. Hope all is good for you and your car will find a good owner too.

I chatted with Josh on Facebook last year and he said it was time to move on. Never thought in a million years he'd get rid of his RM.

If you are into high performance cars there is so much out there right now, even 6 cyl cars pushing 400 hp. It is a far cry from the 90s when the SHO was truly the car. Lots of 4 door sedans with nice horsepower as well, not much in the manual trans department though but still some nice cars out there.

Plus, at current value levels, if you do not have a lot of spare funds it can be hard to justify keeping an SHO that has any sort of significant crash damage. One day these cars will be worth some real money in the collector car area, but not yet. It will likely take another decade.

Hi,

I repaired some damages on mine after a hit (old women who doesn't make his stop correctly hit me on the side).

I have long ago a discussion with E1 about the color. I was able to found a fender to repair mine from a SLO. I'm in Canada and all SLO here were made at Chicago plant (contrairy to SHO coming from Atlanta). Then, we can see a difference between the rose mist from each factory, different life of the specific cars can do difference too (but with same weather and similar mileage).

It's a temporary replacement, we bought a house last year and I don't have money to repair it completely. Because this color is pricey to repair, I think I will proceed by steps (body form and then color) and it will be better to control cost and job quality (don't want 3lbs of putey on the body).

Any advice will be appreciated, thanks (all internal parts are repaired).

A lot of body shops are able to pop that kind of dent back out with the proper tools. We got hit with a hail storm a few years ago, and they were able to make the panels like new, no bondo. The paint would be an issue where it was damaged, unless it only hurt the clear coat.

Newest Barney owner checking in. Its new home is in Oshkosh Wisconsin. Has new fancy suspension and have spent the better part of the year slowly cleaning it up and enjoying it.
