Hey friends and neighbors. I'm selling my '94 blue atx SHO. I'm the second owner, grandad bought it new. Apparently he went through **** to get the stereo option with the tape deck in addition to the CD player. Exterior shots have been added. I was planning on adding interior shots today, but 5 minutes before I was about to go home I was roped into working an extra day today too. School starts tomorrow, but I will try to get interior shots immediately after I get home.

It's been my daily driver for the last few years, but it started acting up around May and I stopped driving it. I start it and let it idle for a few minutes every few weeks, and the car has always started on the first try.

Clean title, passes smog each and every cycle. New rear tires, front tires have some tread left but need replacing soon. Have original documentation, including sales brochure and bits and bobs from the dealer+(most, missing some of my receipts) repair history dating from 1994.

Car starts and drives. Oil light is on. Leak in oil system somewhere. Leak in radiator cooling system. I pulled the ABS fuse because it was acting up, which is now why the ABS light is always on. Brakes are soft and require full travel to stop. Pretty sure I put new pads in around New Year's, so there's probably another leak somewhere in the brake lines, but I'm just guessing. A guy texted me and we chatted for a while about the oil problem, and he made a convincing argument in favor of the rod bearings being on their way out or already left the building. As far as I know, they've never been replaced or examined.

I'm asking 1500, but I've been trying to sell this car since January. I'm desperate. Please take it off my hands so I can buy a DD to get myself to work and school.

new edit: exterior photos added. I probably won't be able to ad interior shots until Monday. Let me know if the image quality is unsatisfying or you'd like another angle, I tried to just get a decent 360 view of the car.

Time has not been nice to this SHO. Grandad didn't love it, as all his love was reserved for his Sprint Speciale, so it sat in his driveway from '94 until '10 or so. I didn't get to garage it either, so for its entire life it's been sitting out exposed. There's a lot of paint issues and the photo of the roof should show a few spots of rust. There are some trim issues, however everything is still there.

If the oil light is on due to rod bearings, there will be lots of engine noise.
Locate the oil pressure sender unit and see if there is a wire attached to it.
Fill your master cylinder with new fluid and park over a clean area, mark where your tires are, and pump the brakes many times. Move off the spot you were parked and look for fluid, any leak will leave a big spot.

There was no new, noticeable noise coming from the engine bay when I had it idling last. I'll try to enlist some help with checking master cylinder and check the sender unit when I have time off from school and work...which might not be for a while.

Edit: I figured it might be more navigable if I at least tried to keep interior and exterior (mostly) separate.

I ran out of image space in both of my replies; I'm not sure if forum rules allow for me to make another post of images as that could be construed as a "bump"? If it's against the rules I'll just delete this message and images and instead rehost them into a single gallery on some photo sharing site.

I'm not able to edit the thread title, but I'm lowering the price to 900. I'm serious about selling, and I've gotten serious about replacing it. I made a deal with my old man to get it off our curb by or before Oct. 1, otherwise it's going to get donated or getting sold to a junkyard, whatever provides me the most net dollars.

I'd really prefer it live with someone who likes(loves) SHOs, so I hope someone has room in their heart and also their garage. 900 (OBO)!
