1991 SHO Plus worth

So how much would a 1991 SHO plus 5-speed sell for these days?
I know you would need all the particulars
Well it has 90760 original miles(don't know if it had the 100k service as I bought it from Texas owwner with 69k+ miles)
It needs an interior, all seats need to be redone and rear section of headliner, moonroof drips when it rains so A new gasket, it needs some body work on rear bumper , and the dogleg inside rear door on the driver's side had all this when I bought it. some of it happened when it was brought up here by trailer to the northeast(long story)

My car has 325K, and it needs:
rear window motors are slow,
fog light bulb is burned out.

The maintenance on this thing never happened - for it to be that far gone would require an uncaring owner. Sorry if that's you.

For someone that already has a collision SHO with interior to swap into this, or needs a parts car, I guess the question is: what's good about this? That it is MTX? Complete provenance of the mileage not being 290k - because the seat and steering wheel wear and replaced pedals say otherwise. Completely rust-free underneath? New tires, not 15 year old DOT codes? AC has been converted to R134a and blows cold?

Needs a new motor mount (from the intake rubbing). Needs all the hard-as-a-rock seals in front and top 60k service done, timing and water pump. Needs all fluids done.

Somewhere between $1000-1500 on a good day and wrecking yard $200 when no buyer.

Its worth $1000-1500 in this area because any running and driving vehicle goes for that much. Unfortunately, its not worth extra because its a 1991 SHO. And the fact that its a manual limits your potential audience because most people under 30 don't know what to do with that left pedal.

This aint gunna make you feel any better. But i bought a 90 with low ish miles.
I paid 200$ for the car. I have over 12k$ in just custom body work. Crossed into 16k$ on the total restore with all parts. Really need to update the thread but yea if i sell it i bet ill be at a 80% loss at least. But i didnt do it to sell it so...

Ford has always done weird one offs with cars, even up to 3 years like gen 1 sho. Reality is, the cost to get them restored when parts are already limited makes it not worth restoring as it may have a cult following for life but they will always be worth double in my opinion than a normal Taurus. Same witb gen 4, once the value falls it dont go back up usually. Lots of american 4 door performance for 60 years and can be had cheaply. Better off to find one in decent shape for what its worth

Bought a 90 SHO

Bought a 90’ sho awhile back. Around 100k miles. I was told engine was redone. Ported intake, larger maf sensor. And bored to 3.2l. Work was done at a shop in new jersey i was told. Also told the rev limited was raised to around 8k rpm. Not sure on any of the work, just going by what the...

Everything being equal between two 91 SHOs, a Plus is worth $10, maybe, more than a regular 91.

I'm serious, it's just an option package with trim, regardless of how many certain SHO people get stiffies over it.

It's all about condition/maintenance records/miles, just like any other 91 car from any mfr.
