18" PI wheel/tire opinions

Debating whether or not to get the 18"PI steel wheels/TPMS sensors/center caps/lug nuts and 235/55-18 Goodyear Assurance Maxlife tires for my 2018 SHO (non PP). I like the look of the PI wheels, but I like the flower rims also. Cost will be around $1600-1700 (with tmps reset tools) Anyone know what the ride difference would be with the sidewall differences? Thought about putting snow tires on the PI rims, but with my mileage in winter, I'd go through a set of tires each year (expensive) Storage of the flower rims will take up alot of room in my garage that my SO won't appreciate...(too many toys and tools already according to her) LOL. Tire cost for replacements is only about $250 more for the 20" tires. 20" tire still have like, I only have 19,000 miles on the car now.
So I figured I'd ask you all for opinions either way.

Depending on location, I always have a dedicated set of snows. I don't take it easy just because there is snow. I probably drive more erratic ;)

I'm in Northern Indiana, haven't had a problem with snow with my Jetta with all season tires, and it has 504,000 miles on it. (I bought it new) The SHO did fine in January with snow and slush.

Yeah I go with like 4-5 months of possible snow, you most likely don't have that problem. Id write off the snow portion of your problem.

Now for the ride difference, of course it will be softer with a taller sidewall. The question is how much? And with my experience how much of your spirited driving are you willing to lose? Straight line you'll probably like it as I would assume your 18" set up will be lighter than your 20" set up. However you'll lose the the confidence in higher speed turns due to the higher sidewall.

Yeah, I'm leaning towards forgetting about wheel changes (saves alot of money and storage problems) and keeping the flower rims on it year round. It rides well as it is. And I drive it like a grampa 80% of the time and teenager the other 20.....LOL

Got my wheels from https://www.wheelsandcaps.com/c-2445-snow-wheels.aspx. $55 a piece. Can't beat it. Motorcraft TPMS are $50 for a set of 4 off Amazon or eBay. TPMS reset/program tool $50 from tires direct. And whatever tires you want to run. I personally did not buy the center caps. Ridiculously expensive and I don't want to look exactly like the police.

I went from factory 20's to 17's and the ride is so much better. Turn in is noticeably worse, but you get less wheel hop in trade.
