Thanks for taking the time to do this post and the photos. Everyone's cars look great, althought looking at the wheels on LMS's SHO really makes me want to get mine done. Thanks again, Mike, you did a typical great job!

Almost forgot, I really like the new look with the black roof, it really adds to the total look of the car, very nice, I think it is the perfect way to do the roof!

Great write up man! I'll come back and edit/add to this later....working again today. It was great to meet up with you so I can put a face with bpd now! Wish I could have made it to meet up with Chris too but I did get a chance to talk to him on the phone last night for a few...we were going different directions and I saw him pass by so I thought I'd give him a call. The roof does look sick..thats for sure. Your car looks bigger than mine for some reason in most of those pics ??? Anyway....your car is looking good and I hope you had a good road trip! I know Dan was tuning a Mustang that will be in an upcoming magazine....who knows....maybe a SHO will make it into a magazine soon?

Thanks for the post and the info as well. I really like the new black roof as well. And the black sho with the sho emblem in the corner looks really nice as well.

Very cool. I have never met Rick, but Dan is a great guy and very personable....doesn't really surprise me he took some time to chat with you, that is the type of guy he is.

The blacked out roof looks awesome!

Like the black roof.. Have thought about doing it to my White G8 in FL.

I too noticed your front was higher than Darreli's... His car looks smaller overall to me. Maybe it's the monochromatic silver and his wheels.

As for the meanness factor... guess the sinister all-black stands out... but they all are kick-ass!

Now.. someone has to do a Red Candy SHO with a White top... sorta like my Brick!

It was great meeting you! Thanks for the kind words!!

It was so bright out, I couldn't see and my eyes were about shut in that photo... Did I mention I hate pics? LOL

Thanks for the great write-up

Great post Mike and many thanks for sharing. Like I said b4 wish I could have been there too. The folks at Livernois and MobSteel are awesome peeps and it's so refreshing to see that they really care about us. Kudos to all.

Black roof is awesome on white -- very cool.
Bob's suggestion of a Red with white roof is an interesting one.

Thanks for all the pics -- great to see all the rides and people involved -- only one we don't see is the guy taking all the pics.;)

Cheers to all.

This is a fabulous write up, and the pics are awsome. It might be worth the trip to Mobsteel to make an appointment to have the grill installed. You should make this a stickey post.

Was kidding about the black doors... LOL Just couldn't help myself... Certainly understand why NOT!

Of course you could paint a white number on the black roof!!!!!!!

Seeing these pics are making me very excited for my grill. I still haven't decided if I should have them do the install. I have pulled bumpers on all my cars for one reason or another so it wont be hard at all. I would just hate to work in my garage if the weather stays like this. Besides it sounds like they could have this done in about an hour, while it's probably going to take me 2-3. Tomorrow will be one week since I ordered it, so hopefully I get that phone call soon.

My hometown is much closer to Iowa, rather than a trip out to MI.

I could do the install for you. Nuthin but a hot pizza and a few cold beers would be the extent of your cost(s).

Otherwise, just read over my "how-to" install and DIY :thumb:

Here's the thread on that:
http://www.shoforum.com/showthread.php?t=117829

I do however have to update that install thread with new pics of where those mounting clips are supposed to go.....

But that install write should be all you need to get 'er done :salute:

That would be great. I travel to Chi quite frequently. Maybe some Malnatis and a local brew would work? Also, I see you installed the chrome on your white ride. What do you think about the black grille on white?

I will post pics in about a week when I get mine. I went with a white surround with black mesh on a white car.

Glad to see more are getting turned on to Mobsteel. Lets keep the ball rolling, there a great bunch of guys and would like to see them get all the business they can. Plus provided the interest and success of MB grill, who knows if there won't be other mods from in the future.
