Question, the bolts shown on their website under part # 81280 do not look anything like the bolts you have shown. Are the one on line not correct?

I don't understand your question as it relates to what "car" the applicable part number comes from???

There is no "car". The part number I provided is the part number for Specialty Products, Inc. or you may visit their site here to order: www.specprod.com

Part # 81280 is simply a part that SPC offers for sale. It can be used on our GEN4's and up, in order to provide rear camber adjustability. Something that currently, is not available with the factory suspension (as explained in post #1).

Does that help you?

oops i didn't even realize there was a product number search link on the right

Bob, you have offered an outstanding tip to the Gen 4 community. Being an owner of oddball cars with few performance options for many years (hey, I had a '68 AMX years ago before the new SHO in '89!!), this is very good info!!

Who are you referring to since I went through the trouble of locating this info, posting the pics and other related 411???

Last time I checked my birth certificate it didn't read "Bob".

Clarification needed Mr. Porter.

Thanks. ----------- MIKE

DOH!!

Sorry, Mike!! Dunno where I got Bob. Probably too used to beating on Gervais!!

Or, most likely, by reading the previous post by EcoBrick.

Hey, I'm old!!

Tom, STFU, you are getting there also!!

Still, my comments stand!!

Having a Medicare card is OLD!!

Got my FREE flu shot.... First damn free thing I ever got from Unka SAMMY!

Good for you!!

In not wanting to turn this into a political thread, I won't go into how my wife, on SSI Disabilty (and well under 65), got thrown off BC/BS and is now costing us a bunch more for coverage, thanks to ObamaCare. "You have to pass the bill to know what's in it". Yeah, now I know........

Okay I got the bolts and the H&R springs and my car is currently on the alignment rack. The 81280 bolts got the exact same CAMBER reading as the factory bolts did. The best we can get it to is -2.8*'s (factory or replacement) and the bolt does that exactly even if you rotate a full turn. Then even to get the -2.8*'s you have to have the cam facing out and then pry on it with a pry bar or it only goes to 3.0*'s or more. When you rotate it the most it sees is -5.0*'s.

So now I got a lowered car that's going to be out of spec with springs in it.

Anybody else tried this and had good luck?

The new bolt is smaller in diameter so with the cam action on it then it "thinks" it's the same diameter as the stock one. If that makes any sense. Right rear drivers side is still out a little bit and the right rear passenger side is out 2.8*'s from what I can remember off the sheet.

Good news is the springs make the car look freakin awesome and my wife can see out the back window a whole lot better. Car is sitting dead level.
