if you posted this on a photography forum they'd ask you why they took sooooo many ricer angles? and why the ISO was soooooo high on a sunny day...
Ricer angles? He hit just about every angle. And it's not even close to being a "ricer" car, so who cares? This ain't a photography forum.
I will agree and say that some of the photos looked washed out from the sun. The only thing you could have done is either wait for a cloudy day, or shoot in a shaded area. I think some of the pictures look awesome though. He knows what he is doing, but is definite room for improvement. I dont agree with the ricer angles comment besides the overhead ones that were taken. Ricer angles are the ones that guys on the honda forums take of their cars and turn the camera on an angle.

You're welcome! I was just looking through them again, and most weren't even taken in direct sunlight. Yeah, it was sunny, but it seems like he focused on the shadowed side of the car so he could incorporate reflections into the shots. There may be a few areas that are sorta washed out, but they still look great.

Wow! Someone who uses filters. I almost forgot that people still used them!
As someone whose pretty much only hobby is photography, the pics are great. And you can definitely achieve the effects in those pictures with filters. Depending on the light and filters, exposures used, and other things you can definitely get the look of the OP's pictures.
My intent was not to put down the OP or his photographer. In these days, most get the composition right, exposure close, and tweak in Photoshop. That was the only intent of my post. 99% of a photograph is the composition and that was nailed in these pics.
They do look great. A little oversaturated for my tastes but that's the trend these days and they do look great.
Just thought I'd throw that in there for clarification.
True and Photoshop should not be used as a crutch (although it often is). It's best use is making tweaks to pictures: darkening the sky, selective highlighting, etc. Say you're on a shoot and the sun changes and you don't have enough reflectors, flashes, whatever. It's a lot easier to do the selective editing in Photoshop rather than try to get it right in the camera.
Again, your pics are great and I meant no disrespect to your friend or his camera skills. They are great!

These pictures look great and you have every right to be proud of them and of course your great looking SHO.
IMO, these cars look great in all the colors. Wish they could be made to change color periodically just for the fun of it.

ugh, take a little criticism. he botched the shoot. get over yourself and off his nuts.
What are you some sort of photo taking aficionado? These pictures are far from botched, and far from terrible. Clearly you feel you can take a better photo than this man so why don't you put up some pictures you took so the public can take a vote?
never said i was a professional. he said the cat who took those pics is. ive seen what professionals can do.. thats far from it.

So you aren't a professional photographer then? Please stop criticizing this guys pictures until you are.
or i can give my opinion about the quality of the pics and not swing on the nuts of this cat or his car.
and i know several professional photographers.

im not a professional. never said i was. but i do know direct bright sunlight is horrible for pics.

I really like how the photographer captured all the bugs and chips on the front of that gen II, and having the windows half open, sweeeeet shots. Looks like he botched the shoot to me.

Maybe you need to learn how to give criticism? There's a difference between been critical and being an *******. Calling his photographer a pu$$y (we all know you didn't type "cat", and if you did, well, it doesn't make much difference) makes you the latter.

To that end, we all love our cars and all are, or were, owners of various Gen's of SHO's...... and to me, that's pretty damn cool.
I'd personally like to see some more pics from all of you. So I'm sure it's time to do some updating, so post away
ive since sold that SHO, im sorry my opinion of the photos was not in line with the group of rabid hounds nipping at my heels. i love the cars, i just think for someone who is billed as a pro photographer, that the shots should have been better. no harm no foul i suppose.
