Neither will a turbo......

Besides "legend" of Tony from Texas 500hp,no 89-95 SHO has dyno'd more than 430hp at the wheels.

At least from what I've seen on my searching of this forum and the internet. I've seen many claims, but no proof......

I ****** Khloe Kardashian last nite.....see how that works? Big claims with no proof are just big claims.

600whp ain't gonna happen with a baby Borg either.....

El oh freaking el

I made 420whp on the bottle but ran out of fuel at 6000rpm. With 400lbs of tq.

I already pushed a taurus deep into the 11's which everybody claimed was impossible.

In 2016 ill go fast enough to where the NHRA makes me put a chute on the car.

Go ahead. Tell me i wont do it because everybody who knows me, knows i make shit happen.

Zachary does indeed "make shit happen".....

Impressive shit at that!

Continued success in both 2016, & beyond there Zach...... the entire community is anxiously looking forward to your achievements!

You're an inspiration to me, & other SHO owner's respectively.

For me, the best part was watching you run at the convention last year. People can say and claim anything the want, but the drag strip doesn't lie!!!
Totally Awesome!!!

Followed up with a little street testing today before having to get on a plane an go home. Zach has been put in charge of making the boost hold better with his stand along AEM boost controller/gauge, but I am fairly certain he's got the record for wheel torque on a Yamaha SHO motor and once the boost holds, he'll attain the wheel horsepower record too (currently, his horsepower peaks at 4,500 RPM and stays flat to 8,000 RPM - yes... It's a horsepower shelf and I'd like to make it a torque shelf). I've been in quite a few fast SHO's and this is by far the fastest I've been in and stomping on it at 3,500 RPM zips that turbo up almost instantly spinning 255 drag radials all the way in the video below (15 PSI tapering to 13 - I ran him up to 21 PSI on the dyno to dial in giving him the ability to up the boost on the fly). I believe there is more power to be had and as long as the motor holds, and he upgrades injectors again, I want to push for 700+whp. :)

That said, there are a few things he needs to work out before making it to the track. He'll need to go over his wiring, redo one of his CCV vent lines, and give it a general check over. Our last minute change to the Moates Quarterhorse and BE has limited us on the ability to e-mail him tuning changes, so I might transfer it all over to the TwEECer software and check to see if his old ECU and TwEECer is still good... One of the issues we ran into, then later ran into on the new ECU and tuning device, but found the problem for the most part.
