02 sensor question

Is the bank 1 sensor located in the front or rear of the engine?

Hey Tom, I know on my 93ATX there is one right in front of and one right behind the tranny. Both are behind the engine though. If you lie on your back you should see them so long as you know what you are looking for. Just look for each catalytic converter and follow the pipe up 6 to 8 inches with your eyes and theyll be sticking right out.

PS- one will be pretty easy to reconnect the wires by hand the second I would STRONGLY recommend doing it through the drivers wheel well, that the only way I was able to get it reconnected. Youll see what I mean if you try it.

Bank 1 is the rear (right from the engine's perspective) bank near the firewall with cylinders 1, 2 & 3. Bank 2 is near the radiator with cylinders 4, 5 & 6.
