A Different Octane Question!
So the 3.5L in my 2015 has a compression ratio of 10:1. If I remember my compression basics correct, at 10:1 the engine should be screaming for 100-Octane Gas. If 10:1 runs on 87, the timing must be retarted quite a bit. I take it this is one of the main purpose of the tunes? To advance the...- MikeSho

? For livernois/anyone who knows.
I have an 11 non pp and will be buying a 91 octane tune, 3 bar and t-stat soon. Have been running regular 87 octane since I got the car. So. Should I fill up with 91, run it down, fill up with 91 again just to remove all 87. Or, say I have 1/8 tank of 87, can I just fill the remaining 7/8 with...- Druseph T. Justice
