So what are the people doing who swap the SHO 6 into the 3rd gen? Can you bolt the 3rd gen strut onto the nuckle from the 2nd gen subframe?- RedBull

Lightened V8 SHO??
Just a K&N and lots of weight loss. To be fair, he did a lot of spinning. On slicks he would have killed me. (until the bottle goes in) Side note: The rear bumper weighs 27 lbs. :)- RedBull

It's completely possible. I know it felt alot heavier than what the scale said. If my scale is off by that much than I have removed 429lbs. :)- RedBull

I've removed 278lbs (conservative measurement) from my Gen4 DOHC. -Carpet w/ insulation weighs 30lbs -Rear Seat and Seat back 35lbs -Passenger Seat 45lbs -trunk latch + hinges=10lbs -spare tire w jack 45lbs I dont remember weights on the rest of this stuff but it accounted for 118 lbs...- RedBull
