    Tried putting it in gear but the crankshaft still turns. Then I realized that only works on a manual tranny (the ATX will idle in gear). Is there some way to "pin" the flywheel?

    I need to known how you keep the crank from turning when you are torquing the crank bolt to spec. The SHO is a '93 ATX. I did a search, but all I found was info on how to get the bolt out (a breaker bar on the frame while bumping the starter works like a charm!!!). Thanks!!! Larry

    Seeking help/advice on immenent death of ATX (kinda long)

    Just a thought.... I read somewhere that if the (AX4S/AX4N) tranny gets incorrect info from the EEC due to faulty TPS, IAC, MAF, etc then it will go into "limp home" mode. When this happens the tranny will apply full fluid pressure which eliminates the ability to shift, but also helps...
