Alternator????????
update checked all wiring and found a burnt wire. the one that goes to the under hood fuse box,it looks like a fusible link,that was burned all the way through. so i fixed that and now the tach works normal. i hope that is all. i will keep you posted if it keeps working or not. moral of the...- paulieg69

pelled the codes?? ok i went and pulled the codes(koeo)and got: code 219(see code 213) open spout circuit. i will be checking the wiring all over but my question now is:Will driving in this condition be a problem if i can't check it for a few days?? anyone with similar problems...- paulieg69

tach problem now!! ok i charged the battery and everything is great EXCEPT the tachometer will not register over 3500rpm's. anyone have any ideas?? thanks- paulieg69

update!!! ok first off thanks to everyone for your help!! i replaced the alternator and new belt. i didnt get a chance to charge the battery yet,but it starts and runs. so my question is: would the low battery cause the ABS LIGHT to come on and the TACH to stop working?? i am hoping that...- paulieg69

thanks.........but! thanks for your replies but how is disconnecting the spout going to get rid of the oil that is burning and being thrown through the exhaust? cuz that is what is causing it to fail emissions. i think my problem is past that point.my problem is mechanical not sensor or...- paulieg69
