Subframe Broke Loose
Worked Out Thanks for the info. I can get a subframe for $50 and that was $535 of the $940 bill from the ford dealer.- captnmike

More info $940 was for the whole job. Install and replace subframe, some broken brackets, throttle linkage, new subframe bushings.- captnmike

Subframe Broke Loose
We were waiting for Bruce to get some more SFB's in. In the mean time my son was driving and the subframe broke loose both sides. Called the Ford dealer about SFB recall it was still open car has 124000 mile on it, thought great and had the car towed to the dealer. Now they tell me the subframe...- captnmike

jeff i had the same problem with mine. sometimes the rings on the spark plugs fall off or don't seal well. so i would check that first and always use motorcraft spark plugs.- captnmike

Few minor problems after engine swap
Engine runs great with these few minor issues that are new after swap. Installed new clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing and ground flywheel. I hear no click when we try to do adjustment, clutch engages when pedal is about halfway up seems high to me, but I'm not sure? Heat only works a...- captnmike
