    I noticed today that the engine will rev up on its own. It did this a few times today while I was running it. I hope its something simple. I'm still working the bugs out of it, its been parked for a year.

    I plan on keeping the car. The brother I'm not to sure about.

    its the actual shifter my brother thought that the bushings on the bottom of the shifter lever were bad so he tried to cut them off. its a cable shift, it there an upgrade kit for this? I've only had the sho for a couple of weeks.

    tranny locked up

    I just found out that the cable had disconnected from the linkage on the tranny. I just need to hook that back on and find a circlip and washer to lock it down. I also found out that my brother ruined the shifter and now I need to find a replacement shifter. any ideas?

    my tranny is frozen in first gear and will not come out. I have no clue as to what it might be. I have a '91 sho with the cable shift.
