where would I find a shifter for a '91. the bushings on mine are torn up thanks to an anxious brother trying to fix the tranny problem

You mean the shiter linkage? Rod or cable? Check the classifieds section.

its the actual shifter my brother thought that the bushings on the bottom of the shifter lever were bad so he tried to cut them off. its a cable shift, it there an upgrade kit for this? I've only had the sho for a couple of weeks.
