    At the service garage that I work at, when a seal needs some lube to get put into place, the guys use vasoline. It seems to work very well, and it burns off fairly quickly after the engine warms up. I don't know if this is the best, but it has never let me or the other mechanics down. Hope...

    I think I've come to the conclusion.... I need to sell my SHO and buy Another honda. My v-tech accord hasn't let me down yet. The SHO on the other hand.... lets just say 1 transmission costed more than my honda.

    Im not planning on taking the road trip with the transmission that is currently in there. I am just looking at 'just in case' the USED transmission that I am going to put in throws that pin through the case while I'm out in the middle of nowhere.

    cleaned iac, now having idle problem

    For cleaning the IAB, I used 3M Throttle Plate and Intake cleaner. I would guess that it would be o2 safe, but I guess that I will check to make sure though. I suppose that I will replace the oxygen sensors next (the ones on there have 115k on them anyway).

    Oh yeah, by the way Would this have anything to do with my temperature gauge not going up, and getting poor heat from the vents. I have not got around to doing my thermostat yet.

    I replaced the iac, but it really didnt help too much. Now it switched back to the original surging idle. What else could this be (The check enging light is giving me the KOER codes of 116,114,172,136,225).
