Just a little info for you: When you are installing something like a thermostat housing one should always install all bolts evenly as not to put to much stress on one bolt ear. Is this my altenator??
This definately sounds like you need a battery. Think about it, The light only comes on while you are cranking the engine (alternator not spinning full speed or full charge) but when the engine starts running and you rev the alternator is now spinning at full speed and will put out enough juice...- 99VenomSVT

One thing to remember, If your battery is smoked you should get it replaced soon because you are driving around on the altenator and that is not good.- 99VenomSVT

When heat is on, buzzing type noise and little smoke when I'm idle...
Your A/C compressor should cycle on and off if you have the heater on the defrost settings. This is to take the humidity out of the air.- 99VenomSVT

Thank for all the info guys. I plan on taking out the tranny myslef and bringing it to the tranny shop for a rebuld. What should I expect to pay for a regular tranny rebuild, no extra, just a stock rebuild. I plan on selling this car after I get it moving again so I just want the tranny back...- 99VenomSVT

1995 SHO ATX No Good
I just got a 95 SHO ATX and the tranny is gone and I have a couple of questions. What is the best solution, pull tranny and get it rebuilt or go to the junkyard and pull one and replace the broken one in the car. BTW the engine runs great but when you put it in any gear it does nothing.- 99VenomSVT
