    Best method of lowering car?

A good Google search answers a lot of questions, but here ya are: https://share.google/02n6nlriGCF4elC6i I bought mine from Ortiz but he appears to be out if them atm.

It's certainly the air fighting. The air had to bubble back up the same hose the fluid was being poured down. I haven't messed with my car much since the change, but I like what I see, Xsport. Hella dope.

    Replacing The Steering Rack

Hmm. Thanks for the FYI. I went ahead and let the shop do it this time, since I really just want it done and out of the way, and I would have had to tow it to the dealer anyway to have it mated to the comp. 3200 is a chunky bill but ... eh. I'll do it myself next time if it goes out again. I...

    Replacing The Steering Rack

Hi. I have the steering assist fault and my car (2013 Lincoln MKS) doesn't qualify for the recall, per the VIN. That means I will have to replace it myself. Has anyone here done it in the garage and what were your thoughts on it?

    SHO us your wheels

I also notice the paint matched lower valances, and as I expected, it looks way better than the cheap plastic look from the factory. So I will have to get to that.

    Double Checking Myself

Thanks. I thought so, but you know, that little scratching in the back of your head that tells you to double check yourself. Heh.

    Double Checking Myself

I'm looking at a set of 9 inch wide wheels with a 20 et. Seems like they'll tuck just fine, since a 9.5 wheel with a 30 et does. Am I wrong here?

    Drivetrain strength

720 CHP would equal about 500 bhp, right? I'm assuming 30% drivetrain loss.

Didn't know that - might come in handy. I certainly have 2 ft worth of extensions now. LOL

    Front strut mount

Soooo ... ... update, didn't need strut mounts. I was really dumb, and because I could screw the mount unto the top of the shock without using a compressor on the spring, I thought I didn't need to use a compressor on the spring. Use a compressor on the spring. Doesn't need as much...

    Front strut mount

Oh, you'll know you need them when your strut starts banging around during bumps. That's what mine was doing - sounded like the car was trying to fall apart.

    Front strut mount

I dunno, luigi. I know that until I got home, I thought that only those two from Monroe were available, and one of them I was pretty doubtful of. Turns out I got the Monroes anyway. SGT, I doubt it. I'm pretty sure mine came with the vehicle. I didn't notice that they were bad, but I was...

    Front strut mount

I made the mistake of using my phone to search for this stuff while at work. Being able to be more fluid on the computer once I got home allowed me to find various options. :bonk::bonk::smash::smash:

    Front strut mount

I see 2 different Monroe strut mounts, one that looks like the oem version, and another that looks like a plate and bowl setup. I don't seem to be able to find any front strut mounts that are not made by Monroe. Any input on the differences between the two Monroe versions, and the availability...

    Video Alert.

LOL ... nope. I almost bought a CTS-V instead of the MKS, but I had to weigh reliability issues. I'll get one someday, maybe, but I kinda like the idea of unique power more than popular power.
