LMS vs Gearhead "Canned Tunes" Comparison

I was happy with LMS, but was way happier with Gearhead and Brew City Boost. Gearhead has the octane adjust still installed; so after a tank or two of "not really 93 like it says on the button" I was quite thankful. Also, Gearhead will have the first intercooler upgrade ready this January...

I want a SHO, but ...

If you were closer I would let you try my Gearhead tune. Call them and talk to Matt. Crazy smart Mechanical Engineer.

I'd still get the 3-bar and a Gearhead tune. When you have good gas...pow! When you have meh gas... you are safe. He uses Ford's built in tools to limit boost and timing when your OAR is worse. Something LMS doesn't do. You'd have to load a different tune with them (and all the others) or just...

Custom Tune & Cold Air Intake

General consensus is the CAI does almost nothing. Tuners: I had LMS and it was decent, but I had better luck with my Brew City Boost and Gearhead tunes though. IMO everyone should get a Gearhead tune for the octane adjust. 3 times now I have gotten 'sub standard' 93 and my knock goes up. Drop...
