Thanks It starts imediately but usually is flooded. I cleaned the terminals on the mas air sensor and has not quit after about 20 min. and 4 miles, storm was coming and I put it up. Could 81 code be on mas air sensor too?- Charles Burks

1989 mtx it might go 1 mile or 30 before it quits. Just done 60k. it did this before 60k. new fuel pump. air solenoid works like i think it should. it opens out when u work throttle above 4k rpm. starts up pretty quick after it dies. NEED help.- Charles Burks
