intake question

trying to put a 3.2 in a rear wheel drive.does anyone know if the engine will run with the crossover pipe on the opposite side of throttle body off and the intake ends plugged off.i need the room for firewall clearance.any help would be appreciated.

intake spacers

i also have groung down the egr port and found the coupler is too close with the very thin intake gaskets.i had thought about just making some thick gaskets instead of the metal felpro style.that may be enough.1/8 thick spacers at this point would also work good.i don't want the spacers to look...

intake spacers

does anyone know where i can get spacers to flip the intake for a 3.2,if so how thick are they and how much $$$$$,any help would be appreciated.
