    There's a lot of plumbing to and from the turbo that could have a loose connection causing a boost leak. That would be the place to look for a boost leak first. If you have access to a smoke machine it can help locate such boost leaks from hose clamps, etc. -Rod

    In addition to checking for a boost as mentioned above, if you have a scan tool with datastream mode or Forscan, monitor for misfire counts while the sputtering is happening. Checking the Long term fuel trim (LTFT) in the diagnostic tool may also provide some idea on where to look as well. -Rod

    You might want to try pulling fuses one at a time until the clicking stops, then see if the dash lights stop glowing too. Checking a particular circuit for power and ground locations will be quite a bit easier than trying to locate all the grounds in the engine bay, etc. -Rod

    "...dash warning lights glow somewhat dimly during said click" does sound quite consistent with a ground issue. The dim glow can be caused by those lights finding an alternate higher impedance path to ground through a device rather than via the intended direct ground. -Rod
