gear slap
I have a '93 sho, and recently I threw the diff pin through the side of the mtx. So, I brought it to the transmission shop, and had them throw a used tranny in it. So far, they have put in 2 used trannies in it, and BOTH of them had what they called "gear slap". It is a very hard knocking...- bkmonster

No Fluid
Approximatly how far (in miles) will a '93 MTX SHO go, if someone were to be driving on the highway, if it had NO transmission fluid in it??- bkmonster

Hi, I'm sure you probably already know about the problems with the mtx's throwing pieces through the case. OK. mtx transmission fluid
Hi, I have a 93 SHO with a MTX and I recently changed the transmission fluid when I replaced one of the axle seals. I only had access to the dexron mercon type atf. cleaned iac, now having idle problem
Hi, I just got done cleaning the IAC in my '93 sho. Initially, it had a surging idle (when I would come up to a stop light), but after the IAC was cleaned, this problem seemed for the most part to go away.
