System in my 93 sho

Engine over heating
If I am on highway/constant speed my engine temperature is half way or lower on the gauge. If I am in stop and go traffic or sitting for 10 or 15 minutes my temperature gauge get about 3/4 or the way. Is this normal or do I have problems? Also is a new radiator or sensor a good idea? What can i put on my SHO to get more HP?
Please do not say items over $500 or turbos/superchargers. Also do not say an exhaust because I already have a flowmasters exhaust.- shotime4u

I have 6.5 MTX's in the front doors and 6x8 MTX's in the rear deck they are both two ways, Kenwood KDC-352U head unit, Kenwood 60x4 (4 channel amp) and also a 12" Pioneer premiere subwoofer powered by a 400watt RMS pioneer mono amp.- shotime4u
