Unless the car has a great deal of sentimental value it’s just not worth the labor. Be sure to check the body where the rear of the front subframe bolts to it they rot there as well. You can buy a 95 SHO with a mint body and nearly mint paint for 10 K, see my for sale ad. Unless you are...- zak

Anyone build a 3.6 stroker?
Chad that is awesome. Are those ROH 16x8s? Here is what I remember about JEMs build. He had to sleeve two of the 6 cylinders to get it to a 95 mm bore based on sonicans of the starting 1993 3.2 block. He had a company in the Midwest remove the fire rings from a pair of 3.2 liter head...- zak

Idle issues
One other possibility, these cars are at an age where their evaporative emission hoses, the soft rubber parts, are cracking and or crumbling. Follow the vacuum line down to the EVAP solenoid and check the lines below, and going to the evap canister. If there is a hole the mixture will become...- zak

Agreed, the Yamaha engineers started with the Vulcan 3.0 (they eventually had to redeeisn all the block and internals). The bolt pattern is the same, there are some other related common parts (rear main seal, flywheel/flexplate to crankshaft bolt pattern).- zak

Can anyone confirm that the line from the charcoal canister purge solenoid runs straight down to a T fitting on a line that runs horizontally along the top of the lower radiator support? I will have a picture in a little bit. I believe this line runs from the charcoal canister to the T and...- zak
