My 2010 Touras SHO Was towed back wheels down......

Uhhh....you can absolutely tow 4 down up to 65 mph for up to 6 hours at a time (then you have to run the engine for 5 minutes and resume towing). That's the only reason I bought the SHO....so I could tow it behind my motorhome. No special equipment required (lube pumps etc). I have the...

    Drive Brights flickering AGAIN

Roger that. FWIW though, the amber turn signals look really cool! The transition from clear to amber back to clear makes the car look more modern and up to date.

    Drive Brights flickering AGAIN

You're good. It only happens with the amber turn signal part of the bulbs. That said, it's not a deal breaker, as the turn signals are still working, but the flickering is annoying. It almost looks like a police LED flasher. I'm sure the company will replace the module again, as they have been...

    Drive Brights flickering AGAIN

Like many others here, I upgraded to the LED DriveBright DRL/Signal lights. Like everyone else, they flickered after install, requiring a replacement to an upgraded control box. Well, I did that and now they flicker again. I only replaced the box about 2 months ago. Funny thing is, they don't...

    Detailing, detailing products etc

Been using Klasse for several years now. Have never found anything else that is as durable or shiny. I apply it with a Porter Cable 6424 Random Orbital Polisher. Water beads at least 8 months. Good thing about the Klasse system is that you can apply it to anything and looks great on the black...

    Mud Flaps

"but I cringe driving on Pennsylvania roads " I'd cringe FAR more driving an SHO with mud flaps. Kinda like my Italian friend's moms wrapping their beautiful furniture in vinyl/plastic.

    Looking into a 2016 SHO

I did mine just after I bought it with 6k miles on the odo. The mechanic agreed with me and said it was a wise investment. He also advised to have it done about every 15-20k miles. Same for the RDU. He said the tranny could wait....about every 30-50k miles.

    Good replacement for a SHO

I agree with bpd...KIA Stinger GT2. I drove one and the only reason I didn't buy it was that I couldn't tow it behind my motorhome 4 down. I also drove the Genesis 5.0 and it was a very nice ride...but again...no 4 down towing. For me, the SHO is the only game in town. Having come from a BMW 7...

I'd love something a little (lot ) more subtle. Like the Charger or Challenger

Time for a speaker upgrade - NOW WITH PICS

Took the speaker back to shop and they exchanged it. No problem and they said this was the first issue they've had. I agreed that it was probably just bad luck. Here's some pics of what I did: The setup: 1. Hertz 5x7 for the rear doors. These are real nice speakers. I love that the tweeter can...

Time for a speaker upgrade - NOW WITH PICS

Well.....shit. Finished the install and cranked up the system for 5-10 minutes and it all sounded so amazing. Then...the driver side front speaker stopped working. WTF? Took speaker out and quickly hooked up the factory sony and it worked. Checked the resistance on the BLAM and it's...

Time for a speaker upgrade - NOW WITH PICS

And by the way, the new speakers are AMAZING. What a difference. I quickly hooked up the sub to check it out before properly installing and also sounds so good. More details and pics when I'm done. Thanks all for your help.

Time for a speaker upgrade - NOW WITH PICS

All done except for the sub power and remote. I'm trying to find a pass thru in the firewall or elsewhere. Any tips here? Where to get power for the remote turn on? Perhaps somewhere on the amp??

Time for a speaker upgrade - NOW WITH PICS

The box says "high efficiency 2 ohm system" If I'm doing it right, my meter shows 2.5 to 2.7 ohm

Time for a speaker upgrade - NOW WITH PICS

Back end done except the sub. Now installing the front component system. Should I use the built in crossover of the factory system or somehow install the crossovers from the speakers I bought? If I use the aftermarket crossovers, I'm looking at a significant wiring job.

Time for a speaker upgrade - NOW WITH PICS

I have now installed the front center speaker, which was easy. Now however, I am trying to get to the rear center speaker. Can anyone offer some advice on how best to do this? I have removed the clips holding the shelf all down, but there are a lot of interlocking parts holding it in, such as...

Time for a speaker upgrade - NOW WITH PICS

Yeah....that tweet looks awesome. Very elegant....well done! I wondered about the fake/counterfeit speakers, but that vendor seems on the up and up. I've now ordered a pair of Pioneer 3.5 for the front and rear centers. Wednesday I'll pick up the BLAMs and then the sub. Don't flame me too...
