Ford EFI wiring harnesses
Yeah, I've been restoring/rebuilding this 912 for years, it had a VW 1600 in it when I rescued it from the salvage yard crusher. I orignally planned to build a 2500cc VW stroker motor, but ****, I can swap in an SHO V6 and get more horsepower, torque, and EFI for about the same money (or less!)...- the912guy

Ford EFI wiring harnesses
Just curious if anyone knows if the aftermarket wiring harnesses that are made for the EFI 5.0 engines will work (with a little modification, maybe) on the SHO V6. They both use the EEC-IV ECU, and nearly all the sensors are the same between the engines (except for maybe the DIS ignition). I...- the912guy

A few really simple questions from a newbie...
I'm starting a rather involved project- swapping an '89 SHO V6 into a '66 Porsche 912. (Kennedy Engineering offers an adapter kit to bolt the block to the Porsche's 901 transaxle, and a custom flywheel and clutch.) 1992 Ranger SHO transplant
Yes, the upper intake is symetrical, and can be removed, turned around 180 degrees, and re-installed - it needs to be spaced up about 3/8" to clear the upper cam belt cover, but it'll work. I was wondering the same thing a few months ago, when I first got the idea to swap an SHO V6 into my '66...- the912guy

I tried AllData-no tech specs. If anyone could just take a tape measure to thier engines (V6 & V8) next time they check the oil or add washer fluid, then shoot me an email or reply here, it would be greatly appreciated. :)- the912guy

I hope I don't rub anybody the wrong way, but I've got a project car in mind using a V6 out of wrecked SHO.
