    Comes around goes around

:swing:My SHO is a tweener, something between a daily driver and a weekender. Being retired happily as I am I don't do a lot of daily driving. We have a 2012 Ford Fusion that is our main transportation resource. :omgsho: Mike

    Comes around goes around

Time to re-introduce myself. My name is Mike and I live in Plano, TX. I am retired and now own my 4th SHO, the last one was sold off to buy a Corvette about eight years ago. Big mistake, selling that SHO was regretful. Well, last Sunday I purchased a 1995 SHO ATX from my son and am satisfied...

Electrical problem with multiple symptoms and a common cause

still pondering Checked fuses, etc. The same day the problem appeared it disappeared. Two days later, the car is still working fine. Throughout this mystery, the battery has cranked the engine over with no problem followed by a quick engine start. All power devices still work. So, go figure.

Electrical problem with multiple symptoms and a common cause

Darn if I didn't post my Gen 2 woes in a Gen 3 forum. But the problems went away this evening when it got cooler outside. Today was the hottest day thus far in Savannah. Maybe the lower 90's. Wow.

Electrical problem with multiple symptoms and a common cause

Got any idea what might be wrong with my 1992 SHO. This morning it ran good. The radio worked. The defroster worked. The antenna motor drove the antenna up normally. The emergency brake light was off when the emergency brake was not engaged. The power windows worked. This afternoon when I...

    Some probs with the bean...

New SHOs have not been on the US market since 1999 or when the last 99 model was sold off a Ford lot. Therefore, any SHO that is bought and sold in this country is a USED car. Typically a USED car is sold AS IS with no warranties. And that prompts me to say, "Buyer beware" and public forums like...

So BMCREIDER is shelling out da coin for a green SHO with a few mods on it?? I wish him well in his new adventure where he has not gone before. It'll be a SHO Trek for this whipper snapper. <G> More photos of the greenbean would be nice to see.

    Leather seat repair

Yes, it is a seam that has unraveled as the thread has given way. Step by step instructions would be very helpful. I have a curved needle that came with a set I purchased many years ago. I'll just need to get thread. How to get the upholstery off of the foam/seat is the mystery to me. Your help...

    Leather seat repair

In the driver's front leather seat there is a loose seam where the thread has broken and is unravelling. Is there a method for repairing such a problem short of taking the car to a set uphosterer?

    Moonroof Woes in 92 SHO

:bonk: I've a 1992 SHO with a moonroof that is closed. The control switch for the moonroof has been pushed in too far resulting in the component being popped loose from its mounting. Question is how does the moonroof control panel/dome lights unit come off of the roof? My Chilton's Taurus for...
