    fans should not come and stay on when you start the vehicle while at ambient. the driver side fan (for a/c) will come on when climate control that requires a/c is activated. passenger side fan should only come on when engine temp exceeds a set temp. so if that set temp is at or above 215f...

    does seem on the high side. thermostat should be fully open by 203f, iirc. so either it is not opening fully, or the fans are failing. have you checked the fans?

    i once had terminals replaced by a firestone service center. lasted years, no corrosion. have to use terminal protector tho, no matter oem or aftermarket. especially on standard flooded batteries. agm is almost never an issue.
