Need Help With Code Meaning
Hi, I have a '91 and my airbag light is flashing a 6 - 6 code with key on engine running. Can anyone tell me what might be causing this? no power to the fuel pump
I just spent several weeks working through a similar problem to yours on my Gen 1. Fortunately the previous owner on mine didn't do any rewiring. My problem turned out to be a blown fuse link by the battery coming off the positive terminal heading down into the wiring harness. The way I found it...- rdavidrees

ProjectSHO89: I finally got a good day to perform this test. I am getting 12v at pins 1,2,11,12,13. Nothing at pin 5. Also getting 5v at pin 24. TYSHO: I am not getting any voltage reading at pin #5 on the plug going into the fuel pump relay module. Any suggestions on where to look for the problem? SASHO: On my fuel pump issue, I did try the grounding at the EEC port both with the ignition on and off with no reaction either way. When I turn the ignition switch on, shouldn't I be hearing a click from my fuel pump relay box regardless of hearing the fuel pump running noise if the circuit...- rdavidrees

Thanks for the info Area 91. Can you provide clarification on where the fuel pump relay is? I took the radiator cover off and tried cleaning connections on the module mounted on the drivers side with the M on it. The module seemed to be riveted together.
