Weird problems today
Maybe invest in a jump pack as well. I had my alt go and was able to make it an extra 20 miles at night with that attached.- partsguy

shifter woes...
I am in dire need of a shifter cable. My local Ford dealer says its available from Vintage Parts and its a week away. Could there be any way of obtaining one any quicker?? *hint-hint*- partsguy

Just picked up a 97 with 112k miles. The important stuff has been done already (cams welded, trans replaced 10k miles ago) It appears to be all stock from what I can tell.
