    You might want to pull the injector out and see if the o-ring is cracked or damaged, thats what happens most of the time:thumb:

    Well if someone with rebuild exp. would take a look and see if this list looks right it would help alot the only thing not on the list is the new forward piston but bulkpart. did not have a listing on it so i am guessing it is a ford item. 86006EA Master kit, AXODE / AX4S 1992-98 $127.02...

    i was wondering if anyone has a rebuild parts list, i seen the sticky but that does not have part numbers listed on most, i have seen most of the parts listed on bulkparts, but dont want to start ordering the wrong parts. thanks

    Have been looking up parts might give the rebuild a try myself, never done a atx before. But have done mtx's and motors so cant be that bad. thanks for the input

    Its ACCURATE TRANSMISSION part # AXODEW32SHO, I have never hear of them personally but most other autozone parts have been good quality. Just on a tight buget I will check out rock auto also. I may just rebuild it myself, to save money.

    I have come to the conclusion that my 93s atx is going to kick the bucket. Has anyone purchased a tranny from autozone. they have one listed for a little over 1000.00 with core return. I really cant afford to fund the 1900.00 motorcraft one. any help would be appreciated nick

    i have a 93 atx with a 95 computer, problem i am having is after the car is hot and been driven a while the tranny slips going into second gear, it only does it if the car is hot and does not do it if you are getting down on it only if you are driving slow.     Remove or not

    I have done a little searching for info on removing the t-stat on the tranny, but have read mixed things. I am doing a flush and filter change on my 93 atx and was thinking on removing it. I have 118k on the tranny and have heard of problems with them sticking. so leave it or junk it...
