Engine Noise
OK, so today i was able to finally take a look. I didnt get the belt cover off, i confirmed that the sound went away as I rev'ed the engine. So now the question is where do i find one? I read on a couple of posts that Ford doesnt make this part anymore. Any ideas? Thanks again.- millhouse913

Thats what it was originally. It seems to have gotten worse now, but i'll check the belt tensioner. I hate to sound like a noob, but is there any way to check if its bad or just replace it? Thanks for the quick responses...- millhouse913

I have a 94 ATX with about 120k miles. I've put a pretty penny into her over the past 2 years, Timing Belt, Water Pump, CPS, and most recently a rebuilt tranny in May. Over the past month I've had a pretty bad engine knock, almost sounds like Jiffy Pop, it started low but has gotten pretty bad...- millhouse913

Dennis, I was recently in the same boat your son was in. I bought my 94 ATX SHO in January and it started experiencing the same symptoms your son is experiencing. o2 Sensor Question
Quick question, i changed my o2 Sensors yesterday and while i was doing the rear one i ripped off that thermal cover that was apparently covering a pipe. Does anyone know if this is necessary to put back on and if so suggestions to secure it again. I was thinking just duct tape maybe? Thanks.- millhouse913

That helps...i'm not sure of the tire size, i'll check tonight, but it does have a Slicer rim. I'll see about ordering that revised spare cover.- millhouse913

I'm new to the Forum and just bought my first SHO about a month ago. It's a '94 ATX with 85,000 Miles on it. My question involves the Spare Tire/Spare Tire well.
