    Also if you need the actuator, I think I still have it laying around, in the plastic. Never got around to fixing it before I sold the car.

    I made that same mistake as you, the one directly behind the glove box is the resirc/fresh air one. I believe it is the one to the left, that’s tucked way in there.

    Agreed, they have decent power but nothing crazy. I’d probably just get an exhaust and some wheels and call it a day.

    These are beautiful cars, we are looking at possibly getting one for the wife as well. Her lease is up in January, so we we’ll see. With my SHO now sold off, I’ve been looking at the Genesis G80 5.0! I love big sedans like the SHO, the G80 would be a real nice cruiser.

    PTU failure

    That’s exactly what happened to my car, at around 90k I believe. I got the fluid drained and refilled x3, but it was too late. The whine started getting louder and louder, at that point you are done indeed. Ended up paying right around 1800$ to have it replaced :/

    Got the oil change and PTU oil done today, I completely forgot about the RDU however lol. Guess I'll have to make another apt for that. :confused:

    Went ahead and picked up Royal Purple 5w30, and some Royal Purple for the PTU as well. I'm having the PTU flushed at a shop, and they will do the oil change as well for 10$, so I'll **** 2 birds with one stone.

    Thank you! Would you recommend using Lucas synthetic oil stabilizer with a fresh oil change? I've heard good things and bad things.

    Finally a homeowner, so I want to start doing my own oil changes. I have a 2010 with approx 109k miles. My question is, should I use 5W20 or 5W30 oil? I live in FL if that makes a difference.

    2010 PTU croaked

    Yeah that sounds pretty nuts. I paid 75$ to have a shop suck the old fluid out and replace with new fluid. That was my old PTU without the drain plug.

    I do remember trying to tackle that one, but gave up pretty quickly. Looked to be a pain in the behind.

    I currently have a leaking sunroof, most likely the drains being clogged (water soaking A pillars). However I was trying to defrost the windows, and the air only comes out of the vents, no matter how I adjust the air. I do have a blend door out on the passenger side, only blows cold air. This...
