Here is one solution to oil burning that is cheap - remember this is one solution and may not be the right one, but in my case, thank god, it worked and saved me a pile of money:

You can go to 235's, I know becuase I have that on my SHO with 17" rims. 235/45/17. There is just enough clearance and you won't have to adjust the speedo with 17" rims. You may have to push the lip on the wheel well up a little to provide a level of comfort.
